My staff and I, at the Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Pain Management Clinic, Thane work from Monday through Saturday every week to assist patients live a better quality of life. Much of our work is Manual and requires skilled understanding of Skin, Fascia, Muscles, Nerves, Periosteum, Biomechanics. You will rarely ever find us using Electrical equipment for patient care! We do not negate the use of Electrotherapy in Physiotherapy treatment. It has helped scores of patients alleviate their pain symptoms. Electrical stimulation is one of my favourite Electrotherapy techniques in certain types of Paralysis or Nerve injuries. To our experience, we have found limited use of most other Electrotherapy techniques in patient care. My team and I also update ourselves on our skill sets and existing medical research with monthly lectures and seminars – a habit that has been inculcated in them right from their induction. To my team and me, patient care & wellness is not about providing symptomatic relief – but about changing their quality of life by elimination (or skilled management) of existing/chronic issues.
